Day 5- Goodbye

On day five, we met at the school to the farewell. We watched some videos of the excursion to Graz. Each group did a video to explain some monuments, history and places of the city. After, we ate a snack at the school with the Hungarian group and played the last games in the school with the Austrians (futbolin, pin pon…) At 2 PM only our team went to the spa and had a really good day. Here we ate lunch and relaxed in thermas, sauna and jacuzzi. Although we went to the slides, we had a lot of laughs and a few mishaps. At 7PM we went back to the pension. (Adrián)

Day 4- Erasmus Experience

On Thursday we did a presentation about our highschool with the other hungarians and austrians students who did the same. It was a really interesting activity since we got to know interesting things about the culture of the other students. Then we entered a few classes with other hungarians students. After the classes we returned to the pension, we had other activities planned but they were cancelled because of bad weather. Nonetheless, we enjoyed a nice day. (Samuel)

We went to the school in the morning to say our goodbyes to the Hungarian and Austrian students and we ate some food. Then I couldn’t go to the pool in the afternoon because I was sick so I stayed at the pension alongside some others that didn’t go either. (Aday)

Day 3- Erasmus Mobility

On the third day, we visited the city of Graz, where we were given a comprehensive tour of its history and interesting facts. After that, we were given about two hours to eat wherever we wanted and walk around the city. At the end, we met in the square to go to Castle Hill together. We divided into groups to make a video answering questions about the place, which was then shown at the school on Friday. Finally, we returned to the meeting point to go to Jennersdorf again.(Daniella)

Day 2 at BORG Jennersdorf

On the second day we got up early to go to school because we had several activities to do. For example, we visited an old castle in Riegersburg, we saw a birds of prey exhibit and visited chocolate museum (Zotter) where we could eat as much chocolate as we wanted. Then, we visited a zoo where we could feed animals and finally ate at an Austrian restaurant.

That day was very tiring and we arrived at the pension exhausted, ready for the next day. (Iris)

Tuesday was a day full of activities. We had a visit to Riegersburg which was a beautiful fortification on top of a hill which was absolutely impressive. We enjoyed a nice lunch and then we went to the chocolate factory. At the end of the day we had dinner at a tavern which was composed of bread, ham, cheese, paté and some vegetables and it was a really original dinner. (Samuel)

Day 1- First Day at BORG Jennersdorf

The day before our first day at school began with breakfast at the guesthouse. Afterward, we took a stroll through Jennersdorf with the director, teacher Martina, and a religion teacher. We saw the high school from the outside and were impressed by its sports courts. We also saw a church, a cemetery, and various shops.

We had a delicious lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, we took advantage of the high school sports courts, playing whatever we liked. I personally played basketball and beach volleyball.

Our first day at BORG Jennersdorf, we had breakfast at the guesthouse again and then headed to the high school . We presented information about our high school, and they did the same about theirs. Afterward, we split into groups, each group was accompanied by a student, to tour the entire facility. It was huge and very different from ours!

Later, we had a snack with them, getting to try some traditional Austrian foods. Then, we went to class. I attended Math, Physical Education, and English classes. They were a lot of fun and interesting, and I got to talk with the other students and get to know them. The late afternoon and evening were free, so we rested at the guesthouse.
