The day before our first day at school began with breakfast at the guesthouse. Afterward, we took a stroll through Jennersdorf with the director, teacher Martina, and a religion teacher. We saw the high school from the outside and were impressed by its sports courts. We also saw a church, a cemetery, and various shops.
We had a delicious lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, we took advantage of the high school sports courts, playing whatever we liked. I personally played basketball and beach volleyball.
Our first day at BORG Jennersdorf, we had breakfast at the guesthouse again and then headed to the high school . We presented information about our high school, and they did the same about theirs. Afterward, we split into groups, each group was accompanied by a student, to tour the entire facility. It was huge and very different from ours!
Later, we had a snack with them, getting to try some traditional Austrian foods. Then, we went to class. I attended Math, Physical Education, and English classes. They were a lot of fun and interesting, and I got to talk with the other students and get to know them. The late afternoon and evening were free, so we rested at the guesthouse. (Leticia)
